Family chats need one recognizable face, not a costume argument. Shoot a sharp portrait, pick one Easter look if you want a set, and send a single JPEG at breakfast. Medium intensity reads on a small phone. Name the dog in the message so relatives who scroll fast still know who it is.

A group chat with eleven relatives will compress your file and talk over it. The photo has to read at the size of a thumb. That means eyes, a clear outline, and one idea. A Boston on a chair is one idea. A collage of six filters is none. Photograph in the morning, send before the thread fills with travel plans.
